A little preview of what’s brewing. Accounts and orders are not open yet.
Simple prices. Your share on every bag.
Every fundraiser would use the same prices, and supporters would see them on your fundraiser page. A pickup-night fundraiser would offer all three packs; a home-delivery fundraiser would offer the four-pack only. Organizers would not set prices, pack options or shares. These are planned launch terms and may change before launch.
| Pack | Price (before any tax) | What's included | How it reaches the supporter | Your organization's planned share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single | $18 | One 12 oz bag, custom label | Pickup night only | 32% ($5.76) |
| Two-pack | $34 | Two 12 oz bags, custom label | Pickup night only | 32% ($10.88) |
| Four-pack — pickup night | $64 | Four 12 oz bags, custom label | Pickup night | 32% ($20.48) |
| Four-pack — shipped | $64 | Four 12 oz bags, custom label | Free shipping to Arizona addresses | 20% ($12.80) |
Buy four, shipping is free. Planned for four-packs sent to Arizona addresses.
Your organization's share
Your organization's planned share is 32% of the retail price on each pickup-night order and 20% of the retail price on each four-pack shipped to a supporter's home in Arizona. The shipped share is planned lower to account for shipping and handling; supporters pay no separate shipping charge, and nothing further is taken from your stated share. These planned terms depend on cost checks that are not finished yet. Singles and two-packs would be pickup-night only. The planned organizer tools would show the exact dollars before launch and on each order. Those tools are not open yet.
Per bag, on pickup night
On pickup night, the planned share works out to $5.76 a bag on a single, $5.44 a bag on a two-pack and $5.12 a bag on a four-pack. These are planned figures, not promises.
Worked example (illustrative)
Imagine a school with 300 families running a two-week fundraiser with pickup night. If 90 families ordered and the average order were a two-pack, that would be 90 × $34 = $3,060 in sales, and the school's share at 32% would be $979.20. If the same 90 families each chose a four-pack for pickup night instead, sales would be $5,760 and the share $1,843.20. If those 90 four-packs were shipped free to supporters' Arizona addresses, the planned share would be 20%, or $1,152, lower to account for shipping and handling. These are examples, not projections; your results depend on your people.
Nothing to buy up front. The planned service would roast to order after your fundraiser closed, so there would be no stock for your organization to buy up front. Planned terms may change before launch.
Who would do what
JoeFundMe would (planned)
- Sell the coffee and handle the sale
- Take supporters' payments online
- Roast, label and pack each order
- Deliver pickup-night orders in one delivery sorted by supporter, or ship four-packs to Arizona addresses
- Send your organization its share
Your organization would
- Choose the coffees, the label image and the dates
- Choose pickup night or home delivery
- Share the links and send a reminder
- On pickup night, look after the delivered bags, hand them out and check off each order
- Set up how it receives its share
Your organization would not
- Set prices, packs or shares
- Collect, hold or process payments
- Buy stock up front
What your organization would need to set up
The planned process includes setting up a payout account with our payment provider and confirming your organization's tax details. Which steps would come before a fundraiser opens, and which before its share is paid, will be confirmed before launch. The organizer terms are still being written and are not final.
