How the planned fundraiser would work
In the planned service, you would set it up, your supporters would order, and we would roast and deliver. Here is each part in plain terms.
You would set it up
You would choose coffees from the launch selection, upload a logo or photo for us to build your label from (each label would be checked before it is printed), and pick a start date and a close date — two to three weeks is the planned typical run. You would also choose how supporters receive their coffee. Pickup night at your organization is the planned default. Home delivery is the planned alternative: four-packs only, shipped to Arizona addresses at launch, with a smaller share for your organization.
Your supporters would order
You would get a link for the whole fundraiser and, if you wanted them, links for each class, team or troop. Supporters would open the link, choose their coffee and pay JoeFundMe online. On pickup night, singles, two-packs and four-packs would be collected from you. The four-pack is the only pack planned to ship: buy four, and shipping would be free to Arizona addresses. Nobody would handle cash. Nobody would fill in a paper form.
We would roast, label and deliver
When your fundraiser closed, we would roast to order, print your labels and pack. For pickup night we would make one delivery to your organization, sorted by supporter, on the date you chose. Your volunteers would hand out the bags and check off each order in the planned organizer tools as it is picked up, so there is a record that the coffee reached its supporter. For home delivery, each supporter would get a tracking email. Your organization would receive its share. Exact payout details and terms will be confirmed before launch.

What we would ask of the organizer
You would share the link and remind people once before the fundraiser closed. For pickup night, you would look after the delivered bags until they are handed out, hand them out, and check off each order in the planned organizer tools as it is picked up. How long uncollected orders would be held, and what would happen to them, is not decided yet. Your organization would also set up how it receives its share. Those steps will be confirmed before launch.
