How a JoeFundMe fundraiser works
Three parts: you set it up, your supporters order, we roast and deliver. Here is each part in plain terms.
You set it up
Choose two or three coffees from the launch selection (a medium roast, a dark roast and a decaf covers most families). Upload a logo or photo and we build your label. Pick a start date and a close date; two to three weeks is typical. Choose how supporters get their coffee: a pickup night at your organization, or shipped to their home (Arizona addresses at launch).
Your supporters order
You get a link for the whole fundraiser and, if you want them, links for each class, team or troop. Supporters open the link, choose a single bag, a two-pack or a four-pack, and pay online. Buy four, shipping's free on home delivery. Nobody handles cash. Nobody fills in a paper form.
We roast, label and deliver
When your fundraiser closes, we roast to order, print your labels and pack. For pickup night we deliver everything to your organization, sorted, on the date you chose. For home delivery each supporter gets a tracking email. Then your organization receives its share of every sale.
Two ways to receive the coffee
| Pickup night | Ship to home | |
|---|---|---|
| Who receives it | Your organization, one delivery, sorted by supporter | Each supporter, at their door |
| Volunteer work | One evening handing out bags | None |
| Shipping cost | None to supporters | Free on the four-pack, which is the pack that ships (Arizona addresses at launch) |
| Your share | 32% of every order | 20% of every shipped four-pack |
What we ask of the organizer
Share the link. Remind people once before close. Hand out bags on pickup night if you chose it. That's the list.
